A men's black full-grain leather belt with contrast stitching and a rounded gold-tone buckle: an everyday belt and a gift for him.
Set against black vegetable-tanned full-grain buffalo leather, the thread picks out the outline of the strap and gives it a crafted, workwear-inspired character that suits denim particularly well and adds interest to a pair of plain chinos.
The buckle is rounded and finished in a warm gold tone, with a matching metal tip capping the end of the strap for a neat, finished edge. Two leather keepers hold the loose end close after fastening, so it stays flat at the waist. The leather itself has a natural textured grain that gives the black surface depth and character rather than a flat, uniform sheen.
Multiple adjustment holes and a single-prong buckle make the fit easy to set. Wear it with jeans and a casual shirt during the week, or with a chunky knit, a tweed flat cap and boots for a weekend walk. It comes in four lengths from Small (41 in / 105 cm) to Extra Large (51 in / 130 cm); check the size list before ordering. Delivered in a pouch, it is a sound gift for a husband, father or brother who favours good, honest accessories over anything fussy.
The length shown is the full length of the strap. The simplest rule is to choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your usual trouser waist size.
For a closer match, lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then choose the nearest length. Ratchet and automatic belts have no holes and adjust in small steps.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Rest a belt between wears where you can, and store it hung by the buckle or loosely rolled.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
