A men's brown full-grain leather weekender bag with a shoe compartment: a holdall for weekends away and a generous gift for him.
This duffle has the classic holdall shape, twin handles and a long shoulder strap, sized for a couple of nights away, a business trip or a few hours at the gym, and it looks as natural in a hotel lobby as it does in the boot of a car on a country lane.
It is made from full-grain leather in a rich, variegated brown that develops a patina with every journey. A separate shoe compartment keeps footwear apart from clean shirts, and the interior is lined throughout in soft cotton. The zips and hardware are metal, the stitching is reinforced, and protective metal rivets on the base help keep the leather off the ground when you set it down on a station platform.
Carry it by the reinforced leather handle, or use the adjustable shoulder strap when you have a long walk to the train. Pack it with a tweed jacket and a flat cap for a weekend in the country, or with a suit for a wedding. It is a generous gift for a husband, a father on a milestone birthday or a groom before his honeymoon.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
