A men's messenger bag that pairs a cotton canvas body with genuine crazy horse leather trim on the flap and straps, for a vintage, work-ready look. The leather trim adds structure where the bag sees the most wear, so the shape holds after regular use. Two front pockets close with buckle straps for a phone, keys or a notebook you want close. A zip closure keeps the main compartment secure on the move, and inside, a slot pocket keeps a laptop, tablet or documents organized and easy to find. The adjustable shoulder strap combines canvas and leather and lets the bag sit at the hip.
Keep the essentials up front and papers or a tablet in the main compartment. The crazy horse leather develops a natural patina over time while the canvas breaks in and softens with carry. Wear it over an overcoat in winter or a plain shirt in summer. It comes in seven colors, from brown and black to olive and khaki. The bag only looks better with age, so it is worth carrying every day rather than keeping for the office.

Canvas & nylon: brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Waxed canvas can be refreshed with fabric wax when the finish starts to fade; any leather trim is cared for like the leather below.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
