A compact men's full-grain leather overnight duffle: a small holdall for one-night trips and a weekend away.
This compact black duffle is made for exactly those: the night at a friend's wedding, the business trip that ends the following afternoon, the weekend in the country. Cut from smooth full-grain leather with reinforced handle mounts and dark metal hardware, it has the shape of a classic travel bag in a more manageable size.
A wide zip runs around the top and down the ends, so the bag opens fully and packing is a matter of laying things in rather than stuffing them down. Inside, slip pockets organise chargers and toiletries, and a separate zipped pocket keeps a wallet, watch or passport secure. A zipped pocket on the back adds quick storage for tickets and a phone without breaking the clean line of the front.
Long leather handles let you carry it in the hand or over the arm, and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with a padded section takes over on longer walks. Five metal feet protect the reinforced base when it is set down on a platform or hotel floor. It is a considered present for a husband who travels light, a best man, or a son setting off on his own weekends away.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
