A compact men's leather crossbody and waist bag, worn two ways: hands-free for phone, cards and keys.

It is made from natural leather that develops a patina as it is used, so the colour deepens and softens with the seasons. Several compartments, including zipped pockets on the front, keep everything sorted rather than tumbling together at the bottom. The stitching is strong and the metal hardware solid, giving the bag a refined look with a sturdy, practical character underneath it.
The strap is adjustable and detaches with carabiner clips, so the bag can be worn across the body or fastened round the waist, depending on the day and the outfit. It suits travel, market mornings, dog walks and days at the races alike, and looks right with a flat cap, a gilet and a pair of good boots. A sensible gift for a father or husband who prefers to keep his hands free.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
