A full bib apron in deep reddish-brown cowhide for woodworkers, cooks, gardeners and makers of any build. It shrugs off sawdust, glue and splatter, and wipes clean after grease or sauce. The cut is unisex and it comes in one size.
The apron is genuine cowhide, so each piece shows its own grain, marks and color variation. A leather neck strap with a brass buckle sets the height of the bib, and long leather waist ties wrap around and knot in front, so the fit adjusts for most builds. A chest pocket holds a pencil, a thermometer or a phone. A split lower pocket, reinforced with brass rivets and contrast stitching, holds tongs, a tape measure, gloves or chisels without sagging. Cowhide is stiff when new and softens as you wear it.
Wear it at the bench for sanding and gluing, in the garden for potting and pruning, or at the grill when the sauce starts to fly. It is a work apron for everyday tasks, not certified safety or heat-protective equipment. Wipe it with a damp cloth, let it dry away from heat, and condition it a few times a year; do not machine wash it. You receive the apron only; the scissors, tools, phone and food in the photos are not included.
Dimensions and details for this piece are listed under Technical details. If you have a question before ordering, write to us.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
