It is made of genuine cowhide leather with a natural texture that ages gracefully and gains subtle character with regular use. The leather exterior has a vintage-inspired appearance, and metal hardware and reinforced stitching add durability while keeping the outline clean. A front phone pocket gives quick access when you need it, and inside, a slip pocket separates smaller items so everything is easy to find through the day. The adjustable shoulder strap lets you set the drop, and the light structure keeps the bag comfortable over long days.
It holds a smartphone, wallet, keys and small personal items. Keep the phone in the front pocket for the commute and the rest inside. The bag blends naturally into casual and smart-casual outfits: wear it over a knit and dark jeans at the weekend, or with an overshirt on a city walk. It comes in dark brown and black, and the cowhide will soften and mark gently with use.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
