A leather duffle bag for the weekend and beyond, equally suited to a short business trip or a gym session. The rounded outline and antique brass hardware give it a rugged character that grows with use. It holds its shape whether packed light or loaded for a few days on the road.
It is cut from crazy horse leather, a full-grain hide that shifts tone with handling and deepens at the edges and folds over time, so no two bags age alike. The main compartment opens wide on a double zip, with a zippered wall pocket and a phone pocket inside. Outside, a magnetic front pocket and two zip pockets keep small items close, and a separate side compartment keeps shoes away from clean clothes. Metal studs on the base keep the bag upright and protect the leather when it is set down.
The main compartment takes a 17 inch laptop, a few days of clothing and A4 documents or magazines. Two leather top handles give a steady grip for short distances, and the adjustable, removable shoulder strap shifts the load for longer stretches through airports or parking lots. Choose light brown or coffee. No two bags age alike, and the leather looks more worn-in with every trip.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
