A slim men's leather briefcase for the commute, the office and the airport. The structured shape, top handle and removable shoulder strap give two plain ways to carry it. It fits a 15 inch laptop and a full-size notepad without looking overpacked, and its slim depth slides under an airplane seat.
It is genuine cowhide with a crazy-horse finish that deepens and develops a natural patina with daily use; slight variations in grain and tone are a mark of the hide, not a defect. Brass-toned hardware, solid brass clips and reinforced corner stitching finish it. The main compartment zips closed and holds a padded laptop sleeve, a phone pocket, a flat zip pocket and a document divider, all lined in polyester. A front flap pocket keeps cards, a pen or a badge within reach without opening the main bag.
The bag unpacks in the same order every morning, with no digging for a charger at the bottom. The top handle sits comfortably in the hand when loaded, and the adjustable strap clips on for hands-free carry on longer commutes. The brown tones work with a suit, a blazer or a dressed-down Friday. Neither carry option looks like an afterthought, and the flat, slim profile stays neat in an office.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
