The compact profile keeps it flat against the body instead of swinging loose, an advantage over a bulkier crossbody on busy days.
The crazy horse leather has its own character from day one, with natural tone variation across the hide that deepens with regular use. Creases and light scuffs show as lighter marks in the grain, giving a lived-in, vintage look. A flap front pocket and a zippered main compartment hold a phone, a slim wallet and keys, with room left for sunglasses or a paperback. Inside, a dedicated pocket keeps small items apart. A side strap keeps a water bottle or compact umbrella within reach.
The single strap adjusts to sit close across the chest and back, keeping the bag steady while walking, commuting or crossing a crowded platform. It rides high enough to stay out of the way and low enough to reach without breaking stride. No two bags wear in quite the same way. It comes in light brown, brown and black.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
