A slim vertical phone bag that carries your phone, cards and cash without filling your pockets or committing you to a full bag. It can be worn three ways: crossbody, by hand on the short strap, or on your belt. It suits commutes, city walks, travel days and evenings out.
The bag is crazy horse cowhide, waxed and oiled, in a muted grayish brown with a darker brown strap. Scuffs and creases lighten the surface, then blend back when rubbed with a finger, and the leather darkens over months of use. The fabric-lined main compartment holds your smartphone, and a separate front zip pocket with card slots keeps cards, cash or keys apart. Both close with zippers, so nothing falls out when you bend or sit. The leather strap detaches on two swivel hooks, and a leather loop on the back takes a belt once the strap is off.
It is roughly the size of a large smartphone in a thick case. A phone, a few cards, folded cash, keys and earbuds fit; a thick bifold wallet next to the phone, or a tablet, will not. Use the strap short as a hand strap, or let it out for crossbody or shoulder carry. Wipe with a dry cloth and keep it away from soaking rain and long direct sun. Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
