A leather duffle bag for the weekend getaway, sized for a two or three day trip. It is roomy enough for a change of clothes and the basics without turning into luggage you have to check. The proportions keep it compact enough for a car trunk or an overhead bin, so it works as well for the gym as for a short flight.
It is cut from genuine crazy horse cowhide, which pulls up lighter at every crease and fold, so each bag has its own worn-in character. Scuffs and light creasing blend into the grain and build a natural patina. The single main compartment opens wide with no dividers to work around, just one clean space. Two front pockets keep a phone, keys or a paperback within reach. Thick metal zippers run across the top, and copper rivets at the base reinforce the corners that take the most wear.
The main compartment takes a weekend's worth of clothing, a dopp kit or a light layer for the flight. Sturdy top handles carry it like a classic gym bag, and the shoulder strap frees both hands on the walk from the car to the terminal. Choose brown or coffee. Leather that shows its history this way only looks better with time.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
