A square men's leather tote that sits between a backpack and a briefcase. It suits a man who has outgrown a backpack at the office but finds a briefcase too formal. It carries what a workday needs, a tablet, a notebook, letter-size papers, a charger and a sweater, and keeps it all behind a full zipper.
The shell is genuine crazy horse cowhide, finished with oils and wax. Press or scratch it and the color lightens, then blends back as you rub it with a fingertip, so the bag ages with character. Expect a natural leather smell for the first days and small tone differences from one bag to another. Two long leather handles carry it on the shoulder, and a detachable strap clips to antique brass D-rings for crossbody wear. Inside are a zippered pocket and a slip pocket, and the polyester lining wipes clean.
With an 11 inch handle drop it sits under the arm over a coat. It is sized for a tablet and documents rather than a laptop; a slim 13 inch laptop slides in snugly, while a 14 to 16 inch laptop needs a briefcase. Wear it on the shoulder over a coat on the way in, or crossbody when you need both hands free. The strap is included, and the tote comes in one color.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
