This compact wrist bag is for evenings out, meetings across town and the days when a phone, wallet and keys are all you want to take. Its flat envelope shape and dark brown leather give it a quietly polished look, closer to a document case than a holdall, and it sits comfortably in the hand or tucked under the arm.
It is made from full-grain leather that develops its own patina over time, gaining depth and character with handling. Inside, the interior is organised with several pockets and a dedicated compartment for cards, so each thing has its place and you are not left searching at the bar or the ticket barrier. A dual closure, a magnetic snap with a zip beneath, keeps cards and cash secure. The stitching is reinforced and the hardware metal.
Carry it by the wrist strap, or clip on the detachable strap and wear it crossbody when you need your hands free. Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
