A vertical leather belt pouch for carrying the essentials without a bulky bag. It rides on your belt and stays secure against the hip through work, errands or a weekend out. It is a practical alternative to stuffing pockets on a commute, a walk, or a day when a full bag is not needed.
The pouch is cowhide leather that develops a natural patina with wear, giving it a lived-in, vintage character. On the back, a fixed belt loop threads onto your own belt, and a metal snap hook lets you clip it on as well. The front buckle flap opens to two gusseted compartments: one fits most smartphones, the other takes cards, keys and small accessories. A side zip pocket adds an extra spot for cash or a train ticket, and the buckle flap keeps the main compartment closed.
With two expandable compartments it is a little deeper than a slim phone case, but the vertical shape keeps it close to the body, so it moves with you rather than swinging or shifting. It works as easily with jeans and a T-shirt as layered under a jacket, and adds character to a casual outfit without trying too hard. Choose light brown, brown or dark brown.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
