It is genuine leather with a natural, slightly worn-in grain, and a polyester lining protects the inside while keeping the bag light. The interior has dedicated card slots and a padded phone pocket, plus a zip pocket and an open sleeve that separate larger items from smaller ones. On the front, a zip pocket with a snap flap holds a passport, a small notebook or loose change. Stitched seams and solid hardware are made for daily use. The adjustable leather strap sets the bag at the hip or higher, and a reinforced top handle gives a quick carry option.
Use the top handle in a crowded train or an airport line, and the strap for the rest of the day. It pairs with a T-shirt and jeans or a light jacket over a button-down. It is one well-organized bag for work, errands and weekends, offered in dark brown.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
