A leather binder padfolio for anyone who writes by hand in meetings and also works from an iPad. Notes, cards, documents, a pen and a tablet sit in one slim folio that you carry under your arm or slip into a briefcase. The size and style work for men and women alike.
It is genuine leather with a vintage matte dark brown finish and stitched edges, firm enough to write on in your lap, and it gains character with handling. The right panel holds a 4-ring metal binder for an A4 writing pad and a built-in stand for an 11 inch iPad. The left panel has three document slots for contracts, boarding passes or folded printouts, two card slots for an ID and business cards, and a zip pocket for receipts or cash. A pen loop keeps the pen with the folio, and an elastic band holds it closed and flat between meetings.
Closed, it is just larger than a sheet of paper and slim enough for most briefcases and work totes. The binder takes A4 paper, which is slightly narrower and taller than US letter; letter sheets fit inside, but the rings need A4 refills or letter sheets punched to match. The iPad and pen in the photos are not included. Wipe it with a dry cloth and condition it a few times a year.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
