The padded laptop compartment fits laptops up to 15.6 inches and sits against the back panel for extra protection and easy access at security checks or a shared desk. It is sized for a laptop plus a small tablet or notebook. The front organizer panel keeps small things in order, with a document slip, a phone pocket, a pen loop and a zippered mesh pocket. The main compartment stays open for files, a jacket or a change of shoes. A padded top handle and adjustable shoulder straps keep it comfortable through a full commute. The matte finish and minimal hardware keep the focus on how the bag works.
Pack a work laptop, reading material, a charger and lunch, and you still have room in the main compartment. Nothing about it looks like it is trying too hard, which is what a daily work bag should do. Wear it with a navy suit, a raincoat or a quilted jacket through the week.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
