The Oxford fabric exterior resists rain and splashes on the walk to the train or a dash between meetings, and a structured outline with a clean front flap keeps it professional enough for the office and practical for errands and weekend trips around the city.
The main compartment has a padded sleeve for laptops up to 15.6 inches and a separate slot for a tablet or a few documents. A front zippered pocket and an interior phone pocket keep keys, a charger or a wallet sorted. A USB port on the outside connects to a power bank stored inside, so a phone can charge during the commute without opening the bag. The zippers are reinforced for the open-and-close routine of a working week. Padded shoulder straps and a cushioned back panel keep it comfortable over a full day, and two top handles offer a quick grip for short carries.

Canvas & nylon: brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Waxed canvas can be refreshed with fabric wax when the finish starts to fade; any leather trim is cared for like the leather below.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
