This upright crossbody is made from cowhide leather with a rich, vintage-inspired brown finish, contrast stitching and leather zip pulls, giving it a rugged, lived-in character that sits naturally with tweed, corduroy and a well-worn flat cap. Organisation is its strong suit. Two separately zipped main compartments divide the everyday load, while an interior zip pocket and slip pockets keep smaller belongings in order. The front organiser opens wide to reveal dedicated spaces for a phone, wallet and pen, so you are not rummaging when you need to sign something. Additional front and rear zip pockets offer quick access without opening the main sections at all.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
