Men's wool and cashmere blend knitted gloves with a deep ribbed cuff: soft winter gloves from the first frost, and a fine gift for him.
These are knitted from a blend of 65% wool and 35% cashmere, which gives them a soft, close handle and a light weight that sits comfortably in a coat pocket when the sun comes out. The full-finger shape follows the hand closely, and a deep ribbed cuff holds them snugly at the wrist.
The plain, solid knit lets the colour do the work. There are twelve shades to choose from, running from black and three tones of grey through midnight navy, airforce blue and burgundy to warmer chocolate brown, stone beige, oatmeal beige and blush pink, with a lilac purple for something a little less expected. Most will sit happily with a navy overcoat, a tweed jacket or a waxed coat, and they pair well with a flat cap or newsboy cap in a related tone for a considered winter outfit.
As a gift they are hard to fault: practical, warm and welcome, whether for a husband who always forgets his gloves or a father who walks every day regardless of the weather. Measuring around 21 cm from fingertip to cuff, they suit an average adult hand. To care for them, hand wash gently in cool water or have them professionally dry cleaned.

Leather gloves feel snug at first and ease slightly with wear; knitted gloves have natural stretch. If you are between sizes, write to us and we will tell you honestly which will suit.
Leather: dry clean only. If they get wet, let them dry naturally at room temperature, never on a radiator, then flex the fingers gently.
Knitted & wool: hand wash cool with a wool detergent, press dry in a towel and dry flat.
