This compact crossbody bag is cut from full-grain leather with a naturally creased, glossy black finish, so no two pieces look quite alike, and the surface gains depth and character the more it is used. Antique brass-tone zips and hardware keep the look warm rather than flashy, in keeping with a wardrobe built on good tailoring and an old flat cap.
Two separate zipped compartments sit side by side, letting you keep your phone apart from your wallet and keys instead of digging through a single pocket. Inside, a further zipped pocket holds the smaller valuables you would rather not lose track of. For all that organisation, the profile stays slim, measuring roughly 20 cm wide, 11 cm high and 6 cm deep, so it never feels bulky at the hip or in the hand.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
