A men's braided leather belt in top-grain leather with a polished buckle: stretches to fit any hole, from 37 to 45 inches.
This one is woven from strands of top grain leather into a close, even plait, finished at one end with a smooth leather tab and at the other with a neatly tipped point. The result has texture and depth without ever looking fussy.
The buckle is a polished metal alloy pin design with a clean, rounded frame that catches the light quietly. Because the strap is woven, the prong passes through the braid itself, so the fit can be set at almost any point along its length rather than at a few punched holes. It comes in one size, covering 37 to 45 inches, and is offered in classic black, a deep blue and a confident red.
Wear the black with grey flannels and a knitted tie, the blue with stone chinos and a linen shirt, or the red when an outfit wants a single note of colour. It moves easily from summer garden parties to relaxed suppers in town. As a gift it is an easy choice, since the one-size fit removes the guesswork, and it sits comfortably alongside a cotton flat cap for an unhurried, well-dressed weekend.
The length shown is the full length of the strap. The simplest rule is to choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your usual trouser waist size.
For a closer match, lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then choose the nearest length. Ratchet and automatic belts have no holes and adjust in small steps.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Rest a belt between wears where you can, and store it hung by the buckle or loosely rolled.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
