A men's canvas messenger bag that brings a vintage flap outline to the daily routine. A single adjustable strap carries it easily from the front door to the office desk, and the buckle closure on the flap gives it a workwear character rather than a stiff, corporate look. It sits close to the body and stays compact for commuting, errands or a relaxed day at the office.
The body is cotton canvas, which softens and takes on character with regular use rather than looking worn out. Inside, a zippered pocket, a dedicated phone slot and a slim interior pouch keep small items apart instead of loose at the bottom. A built-in key clip keeps keys within reach when you get to the door. A padded interior sleeve adds protection for a tablet or another slim device, so the main compartment stays organized around it. The canvas shoulder strap adjusts to sit at the hip, over one shoulder or across the body.
Wear it over a jacket in cooler months or a T-shirt in summer. It moves easily between a casual office, a weekend coffee run and a short day trip. It comes in coffee, khaki, gray, blue and black, so it is easy to match to a range of everyday clothes.

Canvas & nylon: brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Waxed canvas can be refreshed with fabric wax when the finish starts to fade; any leather trim is cared for like the leather below.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
