A men's canvas messenger bag made for busy days, whether you are heading to the office, running errands across town or leaving for a weekend away. The sturdy canvas body and structured satchel shape keep your things organized and within reach. It moves easily between a workday, a short trip and a casual outing with friends.
The flap front pocket gives quick access to small items, and the roomy main compartment closes with a secure zip. Inside, an interior zip pocket and a slot pocket separate a wallet, pens and cards from the rest of your load, and a dedicated cell phone pocket keeps the phone easy to find. A mesh side pocket adds a place for a water bottle or umbrella. The adjustable canvas shoulder strap lets you carry it messenger style across the body or over one shoulder for a quick coffee run.
The main compartment holds a notebook or a light jacket without feeling bulky on the shoulder. The soft canvas breaks in with wear, so the bag grows more comfortable the more you use it. Your belongings stay put on a crowded platform or on the back seat of a car. It comes in light brown, brown, khaki, black and blue.

Canvas & nylon: brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Waxed canvas can be refreshed with fabric wax when the finish starts to fade; any leather trim is cared for like the leather below.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
