A men's classic leather belt with a pin buckle on a thick split leather strap: an everyday jeans belt in lengths up to 59 in.
Cut from split leather to a sturdy 4 millimetre thickness and a 3.6 centimetre width, the strap has the weight and body to sit neatly through jeans and chinos and to hold its shape day after day. The keeper carries a cross-stitched detail and a small debossed motif, a quiet finishing touch that you notice up close rather than from across the room.
The buckle is a squared pin design in a brushed, gunmetal-toned metal alloy, measuring roughly 5.2 by 6.0 centimetres. It is generous enough to look purposeful while remaining understated. Three colours are offered: black for sharper outfits, a warm tan brown that will suit lighter chinos, and a deep bordeaux brown that sits somewhere between the two. Lengths run from 39 to 59 inches, covering roughly 100 to 150 centimetres.
Wear it with selvedge denim and a knitted jumper, with cords and a tweed jacket, or with tailored trousers when the occasion asks for something a little more relaxed than a dress belt. Paired with a matching flat cap in a complementary brown, it rounds off a proper country look. It also makes a sensible, well-chosen gift for a husband, father or son who appreciates good everyday basics.
The length shown is the full length of the strap. The simplest rule is to choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your usual trouser waist size.
For a closer match, lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then choose the nearest length. Ratchet and automatic belts have no holes and adjust in small steps.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Rest a belt between wears where you can, and store it hung by the buckle or loosely rolled.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
