A men's cowhide leather jeans belt with a brushed pin buckle: a sturdy everyday belt for denim, in lengths from 41 to 55 inches.
It is cut from top grain cowhide with a natural, slightly creased surface that gives it lived-in character from the start. A broad rectangular pin buckle in a brushed silver tone sits above a stitched leather keeper, with a screw fixing that holds the buckle securely to the strap.
Three colours are offered. Black is crisp and versatile, brown is a deep, chocolate shade with visible grain, and orange is a vivid tan that brings warmth to denim and lighter trousers. Contrast stitching frames the buckle end, and the strap is wide enough to anchor jeans and chinos while remaining smart enough for tailoring. Lengths run from 41 to 55 inches, giving plenty of choice for a comfortable fit at the waist or hips.
Wear it with dark indigo jeans and a chambray shirt on Saturday, then with grey trousers and a navy blazer on Monday. The brown and orange shades work particularly well with tweed and cord, and with a flat cap in a matching earthy tone. It is the kind of dependable everyday piece that makes a sensible birthday or Christmas gift, and one that will be reached for far more often than most.
The length shown is the full length of the strap. The simplest rule is to choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your usual trouser waist size.
For a closer match, lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then choose the nearest length. Ratchet and automatic belts have no holes and adjust in small steps.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Rest a belt between wears where you can, and store it hung by the buckle or loosely rolled.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
