A leather backpack that carries the camera and the commute in one bag. It splits in two: a padded camera section at the bottom that opens from the front, and a top compartment for a laptop, cables and a jacket. Shoot on the way to work without bringing a second bag.
The removable padded insert has adjustable dividers for a mirrorless or DSLR body and two or three lenses, and the inside of the front panel holds memory cards, filters and a notebook. Take the insert out and it becomes a regular leather daypack. The top section takes a laptop up to 15.6 in. A tripod straps under the base, a side pocket holds a water bottle and a zip side pocket fits a power bank or phone. The back panel is padded and ventilated, and the shoulder straps adjust. The leather is crazy horse, an oiled pull-up cowhide that lightens at the folds and darkens where you hold it, with tan leather accents.
It is the size of a standard daypack and weighs about 1.9 kg empty. Camera, lenses and tripod shown in the photos are not included; you receive the backpack only. The oiled leather resists light rain only and is not waterproof, so cover your gear in bad weather.
Dimensions, compartments and laptop size for this bag are listed under Technical details.
When checking laptop fit, go by your laptop’s actual measurements as well as its screen size. If you want us to confirm something fits before you order, write to us.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
