It is genuine cowhide leather, sold as crazy horse leather in brown. The double-compartment design separates work materials, with room for documents, folders and a laptop up to 14 inches, and further compartments inside keep devices and accessories in their own places without loading the bag with pockets it does not need. The structured leather helps it keep its shape. Carry it by the reinforced top handles, or wear it over the shoulder on the adjustable, removable strap. Either way, the leather keeps a neat line at the side or under the arm.
Pack a 14 inch laptop in one compartment and folders and a notebook in the other, so there is no reorganizing between appointments. It stays comfortable to carry through the day. Wear it with a suit or a tweed jacket and take it by hand into meetings. Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
