A men's full-grain leather belt with a solid brass roller buckle and a weathered finish: a heritage-style belt for jeans and tweed.
The strap is full-grain leather with a smooth, matte finish and rich, uneven tones that deepen with handling. A substantial roller buckle in solid brass, given a weathered patina, takes the strain, while the leather keeper carries a small decorative brass stud for a characterful finishing touch.
The design is practical as well as handsome. The roller on the buckle lets the strap glide through smoothly as you fasten it, and brass-tone studs fix the buckle end securely in place. Choose from black, a deep coffee brown, or a lighter, warm brown with an almost saddle-tan glow. Lengths run from 41 to 51 inches in two-inch steps, so you can choose a fit that sits naturally with your jeans or trousers.
It is at its best with sturdy denim, cords and a worn-in work shirt, but the black version can be dressed up with dark chinos and a blazer. Countrymen, lovers of good hardware and anyone who appreciates a buckle with some heft will warm to it, which makes it a reliable gift. Add a waxed jacket and a wool flat cap, and the outfit is ready for a long walk and a longer lunch.
The length shown is the full length of the strap. The simplest rule is to choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your usual trouser waist size.
For a closer match, lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then choose the nearest length. Ratchet and automatic belts have no holes and adjust in small steps.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Rest a belt between wears where you can, and store it hung by the buckle or loosely rolled.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
