It is made from full-grain leather in a variegated brown that develops a rich patina over time. Inside are three compartments plus a hidden security pocket, with a padded section for a laptop of up to 13 inches and holders for chargers and cables so they do not tangle with your papers and documents on the move. A soft cotton lining protects devices from scratches, and the stitching is reinforced with metal hardware throughout for everyday reliability.
The padded leather shoulder strap keeps it comfortable through a long day of carrying, and the look is refined enough to match a suit yet relaxed enough for a weekend with a tweed jacket and a flat cap. It makes a well-judged gift for a promotion, a new role or a husband who carries his work home with him.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
