It is made from full-grain cowhide leather with a rich texture that develops character over time. Inside, the spacious main compartment takes clothing and travel essentials, while dedicated pockets keep documents and valuables in order. A separate shoe compartment keeps the rest of your belongings clean and organized on longer trips. Reinforced details are made to hold up to repeated travel.
When rolling is not practical, carry it by the reinforced handles or wear it over the shoulder on the detachable strap. Roll it through the terminal, lift it by hand onto a train or into the trunk, and use the shoulder strap on stairs. Keep travel documents in the inner pockets for quick access. Choose brown or dark brown. The leather finish and durable materials keep it performing trip after trip, and the texture deepens as it travels. It works as well for a long trip as for a weekend away.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
