A full-grain leather backpack built for the office. It is cut from full-grain cowhide and structured to hold its shape through the workweek, and its clean outline reads as professional rather than sporty. It suits a boardroom as well as the morning train.
A single front zip pocket keeps small items close at hand, while the main compartment stays open and organized for everything else. Inside are a laptop sleeve sized for laptops up to 14 inches, a top zip pocket and slip pockets for a pen, a wallet and a small notebook, so you are not searching one big space for your charger or keys. Adjustable shoulder straps spread the load evenly, and a leather top handle lets you pick the bag up by hand for the short walk from the car to the elevator. The slim profile moves easily through train aisles and crowded sidewalks without feeling bulky on your back.
Carry a 14 inch laptop, a notebook, a charger and the small things of a working day. Full-grain leather develops a natural patina with everyday use, so the bag looks more lived-in and personal the longer you carry it. Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
