A men's genuine leather briefcase with a structured shape and a front flap that closes with two buckles. It suits the office, client meetings and the daily commute, and the buckled flap keeps it looking neat from the morning meeting through the train ride home.
The front flap opens to two pockets, each closing with its own buckle, for a phone, keys or a transit card, so smaller items stay put through a full day of walking. Inside, a padded sleeve holds a laptop up to 15.6 inches flat and protected. The main compartment also has a zippered mesh pocket and several slip pockets for documents, chargers and small accessories. Fabric-wrapped top handles make it comfortable to carry by hand, and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap gives a hands-free option for longer walks or a busy travel day.
At 0.8 kg (1.8 lb), the bag is light enough for daily carry. Pack a laptop, a folder, a charger and a notebook in the main compartment and keep the phone and keys in the buckled front pockets. Carry it by hand into a meeting and on the shoulder for the commute, with a blazer or an overcoat. The sleeve keeps the laptop flat, so it slides in and stays protected between the office and home.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
