A leather clutch for the man who carries more than a wallet but less than a bag: phone, cards, cash, keys and a passport kept together in one case held in one hand. A built-in combination dial on the side of the main zipper stops the zip being pulled open in hotels, on trains and in crowded streets. It is a deterrent against casual opening, not a safe, and it is not designed to resist a determined thief with tools.
The body is genuine leather with a pebbled grain that hides small scratches and holds its shape with daily handling. Inside, a phone pocket keeps your phone apart from your cards, and card slots line the interior so cards stand upright instead of sliding to the bottom. An open pocket on the front takes a transit card or a receipt you need without unlocking the clutch. A leather wrist handle on the back lets you carry it at your side or slide your hand through it.
Close to the footprint of a paperback novel, it holds a large phone, a passport, cards and folded cash, and still sits under the arm or inside a backpack or tote. Black is the more formal choice for a suit, brown a deep, warm tone for jeans and jackets. You set your own combination, most easily at home. Wipe with a dry cloth, keep the dial and zipper free of grit, and keep it out of long direct sun.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
