The bag is made from vegetable-tanned full-grain buffalo leather in a warm, tonal brown with a retro-inspired outline, and the natural leather will develop a patina that makes each piece individual.
It measures about 5.1 by 3.5 by 7 inches and weighs around 1.2 lb. A zipped main compartment opens onto a cotton canvas lining with a zip pocket and small slip pockets inside, while a front zipped pocket and a small top zipped pocket keep phone, keys and cards in their own places. Stainless steel hardware and reinforced stitching give it a solid, dependable feel.
Wear it crossbody on the adjustable leather strap, which detaches with secure carabiner clips, or thread your belt through the loops on the back to wear it at the waist. The set also includes a brown leather wallet with zip closure, card slots and space for notes. It is a handy companion for travel, market days and country walks in a flat cap and gilet, and because both pieces arrive together it makes a complete, ready-to-give present for him.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
