The genuine leather exterior develops character over time. The layout is simple: a dedicated, padded 15 inch laptop compartment that adds no bulk, one main compartment for notebooks, folders, chargers and small accessories, a zip pocket for valuables and organized sections for things you reach for often. On the outside, two zip pockets give quick access to a phone, wallet or documents at a security checkpoint or on a busy platform. The bag keeps its shape even when fully loaded. Reinforced top handles give a firm grip, and an adjustable shoulder strap spreads the weight on longer walks.
Pack a laptop, a folder, a notebook and a charger, and keep a phone and wallet in the front pockets. Carry it by hand for short distances and on the shoulder for longer routes. It goes with a suit as easily as with a smart-casual shirt and chinos.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
