A leather sling bag sized for the essentials, not everything. A compact tablet, a phone, a wallet and a few cards fit into three organized compartments, so the backpack can stay at home for a quick trip out. Worn diagonally across the chest, it sits close to the body for commuting, errands or a light travel day.
The bag is genuine leather, which develops its own character with use. The main compartment holds a compact tablet with a slim wallet and a charging cable. Below it, an organizer section has individual pen slots beside a small zip pocket. A third compartment at the base is sized for a phone so it is never buried. A zippered front pocket adds a card slot for a transit card or ID. The single strap adjusts to different builds and attaches with a swivel clasp so it does not twist.
Three zippered sections mean you can find things by feel without unpacking the bag on a crowded train. It stays steady on a bike or in a busy subway car. Wear it across a denim jacket or an overshirt for everyday use. Keep a transit card in the front slot and the phone in the base compartment. The bag is made to be used daily, not saved for special occasions.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
