It is made from genuine leather, which gives a durable, structured feel while staying flexible where it matters. The material brings character and depth, so the bag suits casual settings as well as more polished ones. Inside, several pockets separate documents, accessories and personal items. Outside, zip pockets give quick access to the things you use most, such as a phone, keys or a travel card. Ergonomic shoulder straps spread the weight evenly for comfort during extended wear, and a reinforced top handle allows an easy hand carry on public transport or in tight spaces.
It moves easily between workdays, travel and everyday use. Pack a notebook, a charger, documents and the small things you carry daily, each in its own pocket. Dark brown and black are the quieter choices for the office; brown is warmer, and burgundy is the most distinctive of the four. Wear it with a navy overcoat, a tweed jacket or a knit and jeans, and use it as your one bag for the week.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.

Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
