A round leather case for the man who travels for weddings, interviews or business meetings and wants his tie to come out of the suitcase the way it went in. Instead of folding a tie between shirts, you roll it and drop it into a firm case that shoes and toiletries cannot crush.
The case is made of nubuck cowhide, a genuine leather with a soft, lightly brushed surface in a dark coffee tone. Small scars, marks and color variations come from the hide itself, and the surface becomes smoother and softer with handling. The lid closes with a metal magnetic button: it opens with one hand and stays shut in a packed bag, with no zipper to snag silk. Choose the 1-slot version for a short trip, or the 2-slot version for a spare or a second color.
Each compartment holds one rolled necktie with a blade width of 6 to 8 cm (2.4 to 3.1 in), which covers skinny and standard ties, so measure the widest point of an unusually wide tie first. The 2-slot case is roughly the length of a TV remote and as round as a soda can, and light enough for a carry-on. Rolling a tie avoids the sharp creases of folding. At home, it keeps your best ties out of drawer clutter. Ties are not included.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
