A structured black laptop backpack for commuters and business travelers who carry a 15.6 inch laptop, a charger and the day's essentials. It keeps a clean outline that sits well with office clothes, and a luggage strap on the back lets it ride on a rolling suitcase through the airport.
The shell is high-density Oxford fabric, a tightly woven material that is water-resistant and handles light rain and daily wear. The main compartment opens wide, so you pack it like a small suitcase rather than digging from the top. Inside are a padded laptop sleeve, a separate pocket for a tablet or notebook, a phone pocket and a zippered pocket for cables and small items. A front organizer pocket holds the things you reach for often. A USB port on the side connects through a built-in cable to a power bank you place inside, so you can charge a phone without opening the bag. The power bank is not included.
Carry it on the daily commute or as a cabin bag on short work trips. Padded, adjustable shoulder straps and a top handle keep long days comfortable. It weighs about 0.8 kg empty. The fabric is water-resistant, not waterproof, so keep it out of heavy downpours and never submerge it.

Canvas & nylon: brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Waxed canvas can be refreshed with fabric wax when the finish starts to fade; any leather trim is cared for like the leather below.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
