A roll-top backpack for the trip between the office and everywhere else the day takes you. The zip-secured roll-top opens wide when you carry more and cinches flat when you do not, so the bag adjusts to the day. A rigid bottom panel keeps its shape on a subway floor, in an overhead bin or against a chair.
A dedicated rear compartment holds a laptop up to 15.6 inches in a padded sleeve, away from the main storage, so it travels flat and is easy to reach at security without unpacking. A front vertical zip pocket keeps chargers and pens close, and a side pocket takes a water bottle. Inside, a zippered accessory pocket and elastic straps hold a phone and power bank, and a built-in USB port lets you charge on the move. Dual top handles with tan accents and padded, adjustable shoulder straps share the carrying. The finish is water-resistant, so a sudden shower does not turn the commute into a scramble.
At 22 liters it takes a full day's essentials, a laptop and a change of clothes without the bulk of a larger travel pack. The black finish and structured outline work with a blazer or a weekend jacket, and the bag wipes clean in seconds.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
