This compact sling bag has a tidy, upright form and a small top handle, and it comes in a warm tan leather that brightens a navy jacket or a grey overcoat. It is made for the walk into town, the weekend errand and the afternoon out when a full bag would only get in the way.
It is made from full-grain leather, which keeps the natural surface of the hide and darkens gradually into a patina with wear. Inside, a soft cotton lining protects a phone, wallet, keys and small documents, and a side zip pocket gives quick access to tickets or cards without opening the main compartment. The stitching is reinforced and the metal hardware sturdy, so it is ready for daily use in town or on the road.
The strap clips on and off with quick-release carabiners and can be worn over either shoulder or across the chest, while the top handle lets you carry it in the hand once it comes off. It pairs neatly with a flat cap and a casual jacket for smart-casual weekends, and makes an easy, useful gift for a husband, brother or son who likes to travel light.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
