A men's waxed canvas shoulder bag made for everyday use, whether you are commuting, heading to meetings or out in the city for the day. Its structured yet relaxed outline keeps your essentials organized without feeling bulky. It suits the office and the weekend equally, moving naturally from workdays to days off.
It is made from waxed canvas with reinforced leather details, which handle daily wear while keeping a clean, masculine look. The flap gives protection and quick access, while the zippered main compartment keeps contents secure on the move. The main compartment holds a tablet up to 11 inches, a notebook, your phone, wallet and keys, and internal pockets keep smaller items separated. This is a compact bag and is not designed to carry a laptop. An adjustable strap allows crossbody or side carry.
Keep the tablet and notebook in the main compartment and smaller items in the inner pockets. The balanced proportions make it easy to wear for long periods, whether walking, cycling or moving between places. Wear it with a waxed jacket or a navy overcoat in winter, or a plain shirt in summer. It comes in green, gray, mustard and black, and the waxed canvas will gain character with use.

Canvas & nylon: brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Waxed canvas can be refreshed with fabric wax when the finish starts to fade; any leather trim is cared for like the leather below.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Empty the bag and stuff it lightly with paper when storing it, and keep it in a breathable dust bag rather than plastic.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.

Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
