A work apron for anyone who fixes, builds and tinkers: garage repairs, home renovation, woodworking, leatherwork or a long Saturday at the grill. Your tools stay on you instead of on the bench, and your clothes stay clean. It covers you from chest to knee.
The body is heavy waxed canvas, with metal rivets at the pocket corners where they take the most strain. There are nine pockets: a chest pocket with pen and pencil slots, two large lower pockets for a tape measure, a phone or a box of screws, side slots for pliers and screwdrivers, and a hammer loop. The straps cross in the back and spread the weight over both shoulders, so a loaded apron stays comfortable for hours. Each strap adjusts with a metal buckle to fit most adult builds.
Sawdust, grease and splashes brush off, and the canvas creases and darkens with use. It is not waterproof and resists light splashes and sawdust only. It works well at the grill too, but keep it away from open flames like any fabric apron. Brush it and spot clean with cold water, re-wax it when the canvas looks dry, and do not machine wash it. Choose brown, gray or teal. You receive the apron only; the tools and clothes in the photos are not included.
Dimensions and details for this piece are listed under Technical details. If you have a question before ordering, write to us.
Canvas & nylon: brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Waxed canvas can be refreshed with fabric wax when the finish starts to fade; any leather trim is cared for like the leather below.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
