A men's western belt with a skull and crossed guns buckle on a split leather strap: a bold statement belt for jeans and boots.
The oval buckle is cast with a grinning skull wearing a wide-brimmed cowboy hat, set over a pair of crossed long guns and surrounded by scrolled, sculpted detail. The antiqued silver-tone finish deepens in the recesses and catches the light on the high points, giving the design a well-worn look rather than a shiny, novelty one.
At roughly 10.8 by 8.4 centimetres and around 118 grams, the buckle is one of the bolder pieces in the range and is meant to be seen. It sits on a smooth split leather strap in black or dark brown, available in nine lengths from 35 to 51 inches. The simple strap is a deliberate choice, giving the busy buckle room to breathe and keeping the whole thing wearable with everyday clothes.
It suits dark denim, a plain black T-shirt or a worn-in work shirt, and comes into its own at festivals, gigs and Western-themed parties. If you prefer to keep the rest of the outfit restrained, a plain charcoal flat cap and a simple jacket let the buckle stand on its own. As a gift, it is a good fit for the man with an appetite for rock and roll, old Westerns or a slightly darker sense of humour.
The length shown is the full length of the strap. The simplest rule is to choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your usual trouser waist size.
For a closer match, lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then choose the nearest length. Ratchet and automatic belts have no holes and adjust in small steps.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Rest a belt between wears where you can, and store it hung by the buckle or loosely rolled.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
