A men's western belt with a revolver cylinder buckle on a split leather strap: a statement belt for jeans, in lengths 35 to 51 in.
The oval buckle carries a revolver cylinder at its centre, ringed with brass-toned cartridge ends and framed by an engraved scrollwork border. The cylinder turns, just as the real thing would, which gives the piece a small mechanical pleasure every time you fasten it. The plate itself has an antiqued silver-tone finish, so the detailing reads clearly without looking new and bright.
The strap is cut from split leather with a smooth face and a clean, plain edge, letting the buckle do the talking. It comes in black or a rich dark brown, and in nine lengths from 35 to 51 inches, so you can choose the fit that sits comfortably at your natural waist or on your jeans. The buckle measures roughly 9.1 by 7.0 centimetres, a substantial size that suits a wider belt loop and a casual outfit.
Wear it with dark denim, a chambray or flannel shirt and a waxed jacket for a weekend look with some character, or let it stand out at a country fair or Western-themed evening. A tweed flat cap keeps the outfit rooted on this side of the Atlantic. For gift buyers, it is a thoughtful choice for the man who already owns the plain belts and wants something with a story.
The length shown is the full length of the strap. The simplest rule is to choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your usual trouser waist size.
For a closer match, lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then choose the nearest length. Ratchet and automatic belts have no holes and adjust in small steps.
Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
Rest a belt between wears where you can, and store it hung by the buckle or loosely rolled.

Our pieces, out in the real world.
In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
The counter may now be a website, but the standard remains much the same. Old craft. Modern wear.
Each piece names its exact material under Technical details, whether full-grain, top-grain or split leather, vegan leather or metal. If a piece is not listed as leather, it is not leather.
Pieces with a tracker slot say so under Technical details. The tracker itself is not included.
Dimensions, card capacity and laptop size are listed under Technical details for every piece. Belts are sized by full strap length: choose about 2 in (5 cm) above your trouser waist size. If you want us to confirm a fit before ordering, write to us.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, condition it once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
