A men's full-grain leather bifold wallet with a zipped pocket for notes: a slim, vintage-style wallet and a gift for him.
It is made from full-grain, vegetable-tanned buffalo leather in warm brown tones, framed by contrast perimeter stitching and gently rounded corners that keep it smooth in the pocket. The look is plain and traditional, in keeping with good brogues, a tweed jacket and a flat cap, and the rounded edges sit comfortably in the hand when you reach for it.
Open it and both sides are presented at once. On one side, two card slots with curved openings make it easy to draw out the card you use most. On the other, a zipped pocket keeps folded notes enclosed and separate, so cash cannot slip out when the wallet is opened in a hurry. There is no exterior clasp to undo, which means paying for a coffee or a train ticket is quick and uncomplicated.
Measuring 2.9 by 4.3 inches, it is small enough to carry in a front trouser pocket or slip into a jacket without adding bulk. It suits the man who has pared his wallet down to the essentials and wants those essentials looked after. As a gift for a husband, son or groomsman, it is modest in size but carefully considered in detail.

Leather: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, work in a little neutral leather cream, testing it first on a hidden spot. If it gets wet, blot it and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with use; that patina is part of its character.
New card slots are snug and ease as they settle. Avoid overfilling, which stretches the leather out of shape.
Shipping. Free, tracked, to the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days; delivery takes 6–12 business days to the UK and 8–15 to the US. Duties and import taxes are included in the price — nothing to pay on delivery.
Returns. 30 days from delivery, on any item that is unworn and unused, with tags, in its original packaging. Email support@oldtradinghouse.com with your order number to start one. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

In 1924, our grandfather, Albert Whitley, opened a small outfitter’s shop in Yorkshire. Our father, Henry, carried it forward. Today, we continue the family business with the same belief: good materials, useful things and pieces made to be worn for years.
