A men's striped knitted scarf with fringed ends, in classic stadium and campus stripes: warm for match days and cold-weather commutes.
This knitted scarf runs a broad central band of colour framed by narrower contrast stripes in white, grey or camel, finished with a full fringe at each end. It has a sporting, slightly collegiate feel that brightens a dark overcoat or a navy peacoat without trying too hard.
It is knitted from 100% acrylic using yarn-dyed threads, so the stripes are knitted in rather than printed on and stay crisp through regular wear. At 180 cm long and 24 cm wide it is a comfortable length for a single wrap with the ends tucked into a coat, or a looser loop on milder days. A range of colourways is offered, from black and grey through navy, brown and purple to red, blue and camel.
Worn with a flat cap it makes a classic match-day or weekend combination, and it is a cheerful, practical present for a son, brother or father. Hand wash it cold, avoid bleach, dry it on a line in the shade and do not iron or dry clean; looked after this way it will see out many winters.

Longer scarves take a Parisian knot or a double loop comfortably; shorter ones sit best draped once and crossed under a coat collar.
Polyester & acrylic scarves: hand wash cool or use a gentle cycle in a wash bag, then dry flat; a cool iron under a cloth smooths any creases.
Wool & cashmere scarves: hand wash cool with a wool detergent, or dry clean. Press the water out in a towel and dry flat; never wring or tumble dry.
