The supplier states a composition of 33.34% alpaca, 33.33% cashmere and 33.33% elastane, and the cross-section photograph shows a dense, double-layer knit. Each glove measures approximately 22 cm long and 8 cm across the palm; allow a centimetre or two either way, as measurements are taken by hand. For care, hand wash, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or dry clean, and do not bleach.
Heather grey is a soft, versatile shade that works with navy, charcoal and camel alike, and it looks particularly good with a grey herringbone flat cap and a matching scarf. Measure around your dominant hand at the widest part of the palm, just below the knuckles and without the thumb. Compare that with the palm width in Technical details: a glove measured flat is roughly half its circumference.
Leather gloves feel snug at first and ease slightly with wear; knitted gloves have natural stretch. If you are between sizes, write to us and we will tell you honestly which will suit.
Leather: dry clean only. If they get wet, let them dry naturally at room temperature, never on a radiator, then flex the fingers gently.
Knitted & wool: hand wash cool with a wool detergent, press dry in a towel and dry flat.
